Just let Lydia do her magic. She comes highly recommended as we came from out of town and didn't know what to do. Three people in one day said "you need to see Lydia". We did and she managed to get rid of everything for us.

Paper out of Control

​I had stacks of paper work not sorted for over a year. People Vs Stuff helped me organized important papers label them and understand what papers are not necessary to keep. She now comes once a month to keep me organized. I am over 80 years old and feel unsure sometimes. Lydia is always patient and kind.

                                                      Downsizing Doesn't Have to Be Difficult
At age 83 I made the decision to "Downsize" and move into Senior Living apartment from a 4 bedroom home with a full basement. Children not living close so I needed help. I found Lydia with People Vs Stuff to help.  Together we worked a few almost daily sorting, packing & labeling boxes for moving. Lydia was great to have several donation places lined up. She even took the items to the various donation sites. Lydia provided help to move a few heavy items. Most of all she provided a sense of humor, lot of care, patience and sensitivity when I had to make difficult decisions as to what to keep and what to let go. She was very respectfull and careful of my possessions. I enjoyed working with her and recommend People Vs Stuff.

                                                                Kitchen Needed Help
I love to cook and entertain but wasn't easy because my kitchen wasn't organized.  Lydia of People Vs Stuff helped me organize my kitchen by grouping tools and pantry items to be more efficient.  Not only does everything have a place but the kitchen now flows.  She also taught me about food safety and dating leftovers in the refrigerator so I didn't have surprises.

We have contacted Lydia for her help with several of our clients. Sometimes patients need to have their homes made safe before they go home from the hospital. Other times clients are living in unhealthy conditions and have to have help getting
back on track because of their physical limitations.  Lydia has done a great job with helping their living conditions become organized and healthy again.

There is Hope

The last 10 years have been incredibly busy. Many high priority issues, projects and problems kept us from doing more than the bare minimum of cleaning, unpacking and organizing. The unfinished half of our basement was filled with a decade's accumulation of "stuff"' piled almost to the ceiling along with unopened boxes from our last move. We could barely get our cars into the garage. The rest of the space was a disorganized mess. We do a lot of cooking and baking, and over the years, our very busy kitchen became more and more cluttered and disorganized. We didn't know what we had or where it was.

When Lydia saw this, she said "Let me help you." The results were amazing. During several intense days last fall, she helped us transform our basement, garage and kitchen. Her energy and drive motivated us to tackle jobs we had been dreading and putting off. She also gently but firmly pushed us to make difficult decisions: what to keep, what to give away or recycle, what to throw away. Lydia is a genius for organization. The items in our basement and garage are neatly stored, labeled and logically grouped so we can find what we need, with lots of reclaimed, free space. Our ingredients, spices and kitchen tools are also more neatly stored and organized so we can find them. It makes cooking much easier. Through all of this, it was a pleasure working with Lydia. Her energy, enthusiasm and sense of humor motivated us to keep working. She also pitched in and did more than her share of the work.  We can unhesitatingly recommend Lydia christian and her services.
